Bad Thanksgiving but Great Christmas and a Ok New Year.

We had a big scare with Brandon at the end of November. He some how caught the H1N1 flu and was very sick for about 6 days. He acted like he was getting better but he started to feel bad again on Thanksgiving. So I took his temp and to my surprise it was over 103. As anyone know who has kids that is very dangerous. Well I got him ready and took him to the childeren's hospital here in Greenville ( about a 30 to 40 min. drive from my house) I think I broke some speed limits on the way there. But I was so scared for my little boy. They did test on him and found out that he had pneumonia so they amited him to the hospital. The next day they came in and told us that they would have to put a chest tube in the left side of his chest (that is where the pneumonia was). I have never been so scared. All I could think of was that he was only 3 and he was just a baby, my baby. They took the chest tube out about 3 days later. He was in the hospital for 6 days. He was back to his normal self the day after he was home. I am so grateful that he is doing sooo much better.



Christmas was a happy time for us and the kids. The older one got a Wii system from Santa and Brandon got a drum set. We had a very good day.



New Years day was ok even though we where worried about how we where going to get every thing paid when Greg was lied off. (He is back to work WooHoo) I went to work for a while at the end of Janury and the first of Febury. Like some of the people but hated the work. I will never be a waitress again.



Well that about sums it up. I hope that we don't have any more drama any time soon.

School

The kids start school tomorrow. The summer has flow by so fast. Kayla will be in 7th grade this year and Zack will be in the 1st grade. We went to meet all their teachers yesturday. I hope thy do well this year. Well just wanted to update this so I got to go. Bye for now.

Hey All

I know, I know it has been a long time since I posted anything but you know how life is. We doing great just the normal stuff. The boys have both been sick with colds. Kayla is trying out for the volleyball team at her school. We hope she makes it.

I will be glad when school is out for the summer. That means no more getting up early in the morning. Which I love.

Greg is working hard as normal. He gets in some fishing though. He carp fishes on the weekends when we have the money. What it is is at differnt lake they will have toraments where they pay out money every 20 min., lets say, for the biggest fish. The pay out ranges from $50 dollars on up. It is his time to relax. He loves it.

I am just doing my thing here at the house. I love being a stay at home mom.

It has been a very rainy spring this year. Which is good since we have had a drought here. But I hate all the mud.

Rain, Rain and more Rain and other Stuff

It has rain here so much I forgot what the sun looks like. We would have a couple days of sun light and then comes the rain. I just hope it ends soon.

The Kids are doing good. Kayla has brought all her grades up. You go girl. Zack is doing good in school to if only he would be still. Brandon is getting bigger and meaner that boy has his daddy's temper.

The boys have both had ear infections and Zack is still being treated for a strep throat.

Updates

Hey how is evryone? I know it has been a while. Sorry. The kids a doing great although Zack is being treated for an ear infection right now. I got Brandon hair cut, I got all his curls cut off ( they are coming back now that his hair is begaining to grow out). Kayla is not doing so good in school her grade are slipping but we are working to get them up. I have been on Facebook alot lately I love being in touch with so many people. Greg is working hard. I love him very much. Well I need to go that pretty well sum up every thing we don't have much going on. I'll do better on keeping this updated.

Ride Baby Ride

I been meaning to put this on here for awhile but I keep on forgetting. I recorded this last month so Greg could see Zack ride his bike. This is the first time he rode his bike by himself.

Glasses Buddies

I am not the only one that is wearing glasses in my house any more. Zack got his new glasses yesturday. I told him that now Mommy now has a glasses buddy now. Here is a real cute picture of him wearing them.

He was really excited when I told him when I picked him up at school. We went to get them after school yesturday. I am glad that he likes them so much and that he can see the world better.

Winter is Finally Here

Winter is here at last. It has been in the 30's at night and in the 50's during the day for about 4 days now. I can't wait for spring to be here. Spring and summer is my very favorite time of the year. I just hate the cold.

Rain, Rain and More Rain

It has rain here for at least two days out of the week for the past few weeks. I am kind of sick and tired of it. Our yard is a mud pit or at least where I park. I have a GMC Surban and it has 4 wheel drive, I have had to put it in 4 wheel drive a couple of times to get it out of the drive way. Thank goodness all I have to do is push a button. We have asked our land lord to put some gravel down. I hope it don't take him long to do it. But the good thing is it has been in the 50's, 60's and 70's for a few weeks now. I am beginning to think it is spring instead of winter. I have to look at the calender to be sure.

Christmas Day/ Timber

The kids had a very good Christmas. Kayla and Zack got new bikes and helmets from Santa and Brandon got a riding toy that looks like a 4 wheeler and new helmet to. They got a lot from us to. The grandparents gave they a lot to. I can't remember what they all got.

Our beautiful tree also made it known that it was tired of having to stand there and hold all those ornaments. It fell on on Christmas Eve while we where looking for a present for Zack to open. You see the tree was old and the stand was not very good. I got it from Greg's grandma. Last year I fix it with some duct type and it worked but this year Greg tried to fix it with screws. It held intell Christmas Eve. Greg being the handy man he is try to fix it again when it fell but some time during the night it fell again. So Christmas day the tree was leaning against our entertament center while we open presents. Poor tree it had a good run.
