Christmas Day/ Timber

The kids had a very good Christmas. Kayla and Zack got new bikes and helmets from Santa and Brandon got a riding toy that looks like a 4 wheeler and new helmet to. They got a lot from us to. The grandparents gave they a lot to. I can't remember what they all got.

Our beautiful tree also made it known that it was tired of having to stand there and hold all those ornaments. It fell on on Christmas Eve while we where looking for a present for Zack to open. You see the tree was old and the stand was not very good. I got it from Greg's grandma. Last year I fix it with some duct type and it worked but this year Greg tried to fix it with screws. It held intell Christmas Eve. Greg being the handy man he is try to fix it again when it fell but some time during the night it fell again. So Christmas day the tree was leaning against our entertament center while we open presents. Poor tree it had a good run.

Baby Rabbits or Mexican Jumping Beans

(This is dad)
(This is mom)

Our female rabbit gave birth to babies last week. Every time I check on them I am afraid that they will fall out of the cage they are in. They jump around so much it is so funny. There are six of them. They have thier daddy's markings and are either a butterscotch and white in color or black and white. Here is a short video of them and pictures of mom and dad.

Let It Snow Please

This is my only wish every year. I miss the white Christmases I had out in Utah. But it looks like that will not happen. It will be in the upper 50's and lower 60's this week. But who knows it might happen you never know what will happen next week.

First Christmas Program

Monday was a very exciting day for us, it was Zack's first Christmas program. The kindergarten kids did a little show for the PTA meeting. They were so cute. I was going to put a video of them performing on here put I did not get to because I left the memory card for my camera at home. (It was still in the computer, I downloaded some picture earlier that day a forgot to put it in back in my camera.) Zack did realy good. We were so proud of him.
All the kids wore santa hats and they had to wore red and/or green. They preformed about 5 songs. They all did very good.

I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

Busy Two Days

I was very busy Wednesday and Thursday. I had to take Zack to three doctors appointments. I took the boys to see the dentist on the tenth and they found some problems with Zack's teeth. Well, they wanted to do all the work at the same time so they put him to sleep to do it. Wednesday he had two pre- op appointments and Thursday was when they did all his dental work. The rest of the day he was pretty out of it. They had to pull four of his teeth and he got $4 from the toothfairy. All I ever got was .25 cent or less. I am glad to report he is do very good. I was very nervous and worry about him when he was there.

Heck Yeah

I found a music station that I just love. It not on the radio but on Direct-TV. It is channel 829. All they play is 80's hair bands. They are playing songs that I have not heard since I was a teenager. It just rocks. I know you might not care but if you know me well you know that was all I listen to when I was a teenager. If anyone of you like to listen to that type of music you will love it. So if you have Direct-TV check it out.

A Bride, Batman and a Spider

What do they have in common? I guess nothing, OH that's right that is what the kids dressed up for Halloween. Kayla was the bride, Zack was Batman and Brandon was a spider. Here are some pictures of them all dressed up.

Here they are getting ready to go trick or treating.

Here is Zack as Batman. He wore it for three days after we got it for him. He even wore the mask for that long. Thank goodness it was a long weekend for them. They didn't have school on monday.

Here is Brandon looking cute as a bug in a rug, oh oh I mean a spider.

Here is Kayla looking very pretty if I do say so myself. Maybe a look into the future.

A Letter to Grandpa

I wrote this because I am haveing very hard time execpting that Grandpa is gone and thought that this would help me. I think if there are any one else that fell the same way do to do the same it might help.

Dear Grandpa,

How are you doing up there in Heaven? I doing ok here on earth. My kids are growing leaps and bounds.

I went to visit Grandma back in June and it felt weird that you where not there. Every where I looked I felt you there. I wonder why God would take you before I got to say goodbye to you. I sometimes cry at night missing you. I know in my head that you are in a better place and no longer in pain, but my heart is screeming "Grandpa where are you? I need you." You where more then a Grandpa to me you where also a father. You where there when my father was not.

You where the greatest man I know. I love you very much. I miss you every day and I will for the rest of my life. I know I will see you again one day and I will be over joyed to see and hug you. I know how much you loved me. I will miss how you would alway call me darling. Tell all our family up there that I loved them and I will see them one day.

I love you always and forever.
Your loving granddaughter,
Charlotte

"Mommy my tummy hurts very bad."

I have heard this for the last few days. There is a stomach virus going around. Greg, Kayla, and Brandon have all been sick. Zack and I have not, knock on wood. Kayla was out of school for 2 days. Brandon was so sick one night that I was up with him for a couple hours. I hope that Zack does not get sick.

On a happier note Kayla is doing great at school so far. All her grades are in the 90's. Zack is doing very good too. I am very proud of them both. Kayla loves all her classes. Kayla and a friend of hers have started a book club at school. I am very proud of her for doing this. They are going to meet after school in the libery on Thursdays. Kayla and Natalie have done all the planning and getting people to join all by them selfs. I am very proud to say that she is did a great job at it. I hope it goes well for them because of all the time they put in it.

I hope you all are doing great. Love you all.

Update: Guess who is sick? If you guess Zack and me you are right. That is what I get for wishfull thinking. LOL

Kids, Dogs and Cats

I don't know which one is worst. You have to feed all three, clean up after them, and give them attention when they want it. You might be wondering why I am writing about kids, dogs and cats. Well I have all three. When I am not doing something for the kids I am feed dogs and cats. The animals right now out number us. The total of animals are as followed: 9 dogs (7 which are puppies) 7 cats (5 which are kittens) 2 rabbits and 4 gold fish. I am in charge of making sure they are fed. Kayla and Zack feed and water their own rabbits and make sure the dogs have food and water. I feed and water the cats. Everyone feeds the fish.

As for the kids well I think that they are wonderful, when they are a sleep LOL(just kidding). I believe my kids are great when they want to be. Kayla is 11 now and she is acting like the preteen that she is. I somtimes wonder how my mom made it through those year when I was a teenager. If I was half as bad as Kayla is I feel sorry for my mom (sorry mom). I love Kayla very much but sometimes I fill like killing her. I some of you have been through this does it get any better. I hope so. Zack is showing that he is a big boy now and he does not need me has much. Brandon he is a whole other story. At 2 he is every inch his daddy's son. He additude, looks and temper. He can fly mad at a drop of a hat but be as sweet as he can be the next minute.

I love them all, animals and kids alike, even when my kids acted like the animals,LOL.

I hope this fines you all well. Love you all.

First Day of School

Hi everyone. Yesterday was the Kayla and Zack first day of school.

I was so surprise how well Zack did. He went in his class room like a little man and told me he was all right and I could go that he would be ok. My baby is getting to be a big boy. He had so much fun that he said he wanted to go back today. But last night, and this is so cute, he asked me if he could go to school at 10:45 this morning and I told he would have to go to school at 8 because that is when school starts and he said he did not get up that early, I get them up at 6:30, he went to sleep after that. Oh and by the way 10:45 is when his class goes to lunch. This morning I walked him to the doors and I asked him if he wanted me to walk him to the lunch room he said no that he can go in by himself. He is getting to be a very big boy and I am so proud of him.

Kayla had a nice day at her new school to. She said that she liked all but one of her teachers. The only thing that went wrong is that she went in the wrong class room and she had so trouble with her locker. Other then that she had a good day. I hope today is a good day for her.

Well I need to go. Love you all.

Back to School part 2

As I am getting the kids ready to go back to school it just dawned on me that Zack will be going to school for the first time in 8 days. Today we went by the the school to find out who his teacher was. I think he is getting excited about going but am I ready to let him go. YOU BET. Only three more years then I will have all of them in school and then it is me time. Don't get me wrong I will miss Zack not being around but I know it is time to let him go he is a big boy now or he likes to think so. (He will always be my baby.) I just hope I don't cry.

Kayla is starting middle school this year. If some of you don't what this is it is 6th grade - 8th grade. I hope she does well there. Her school is a brand new school. When I say brand new I mean brand new like they just built it this year. She get every thing new: new books, desk, locker, ect. I wish I could of done that. She is getting excited to.

Well I need to go. Love you all.

Back to School

How come do we have to buy so much stuff for our kids at the begaining of the school year? Today I got all of Zack's school supplies and I have three Walmart bags full of stuff for him to take to school and he is only in kindergarten. I spent around $200.00 and I haven't even got Kayla's supplies yet. I got each child three outfits and two pairs of pants each. Heck, I wonder how it is going to be when Brandon starts school in three years. I remeber only needed pencil for school and some note book paper. Man how time has changed. Please let me know if it is just me or not but some of the things they want us to get is silly like they have on Zack's list is coffee filters. What in the world are 5 year olds going to do with coffee filters, drink coffee, I don't think so. It is just so stupid. I did not get them. If anyone could put a light on this subject for me please do.

Well I hope this finds everyone doing well. Love you all.

Our trip to Utah

We had a blast in Utah. We arrived in Utah on June the 25th around 11:00am. We had a very good flight. Zack and Brandon slept intell about a hour before we landed and Kayla slept the last hour of our flight. We stayed with Grandma the first night. The next day Aunt Carma and Uncle David took me and the kids to Aunt Chris's for five days. We had a lot of fun there, we went to the Grotto which was very fun and nice hike( I would at like to thank Hesston for all his help with Brandon. Hesston pushed Brandon stroller and carried him the last few yards and took very good care of him the whole day). We left that Monday to go back to Grandma's for the rest of our vist. On Tuesday we went to the zoo with Jessica and her kids, Aunt Vonny and Grandma. We had a lot of fun that day. The next I was able to spend so time with Karee and her kids and I enjoyed being there with her. We had fun the rest of the time. We went to Aunt Vonny and Uncle Jack's for a cook out on th 4th and we did fireworks there to. The next day we had a picinic at Copperton park with them. John and Amber's twins were born the next day and what I hear they are doing great. The rest of our time was spent visting with Grandma. We left on July 9th at 5:00pm. The boys stayed awake the whole flight this time but they were very good the whole time. We made it home in one piece. I want to say thank you and I love you . We had a very good time
